Money Smart Week South Africa returns from 24 to 31 August 2026, bringing together organisations across the financial sector to support better financial decision-making among South Africans.
FINASA is hosting an online information session for fintech companies, industry partners and other organisations interested in participating in this year’s campaign. The session will explain how Money Smart Week works, what types of activities and resources can be submitted, the approval process and how participating organisations can get involved.
Activities may include webinars, workshops, community initiatives, digital campaigns, educational content, tools, guides or other practical financial education programmes. Participation is free, although organisations are responsible for funding and delivering their own activities.
This session is designed to help organisations understand the process, develop a suitable contribution and ask any questions before submitting their application.
