About the event
Money Smart Week South Africa is a national financial literacy campaign taking place from 24–30 August 2026. The campaign brings together government, regulators, industry bodies, financial institutions, fintech companies and community organisations to strengthen financial education and help South Africans make more informed financial decisions.
Led by the National Treasury and the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, Money Smart Week SA creates an important platform for organisations to contribute practical resources, workshops, tools and initiatives that support financial confidence, inclusion and wellbeing.
FINASA is proud to support the campaign by helping fintech companies and ecosystem partners participate meaningfully. Members and industry participants who would like to get involved are encouraged to register their interest.
